Blue crystal

A blue crystal contains the Minor Spiritual spell Spirit Strike (117). They are usually generated with one charge and can be charged to contain more. They are also crumbly.

Alchemy tie-in Recipes

Alchemists learn to make a blue crystal at rank 50 in the Trinkets subskill of Alchemy. It is the first recipe that includes the ALCHEMY CHANNEL (verb) and is very important to an Alchemist's training.

There are two recipes, one with a Human Empire gem and one with a gem from the Elven Nations.

Human Empire Version

The recipe given is as follows: add crystalline solution, add stargazer lily, simmer, add powdered snake-head cowrie shell, infuse mana, add 2 doses of golem bone from bone golems, boil, channel lifeforce and chant the Spirit Strike spell.
