Hazelnut is a halfling who resides in Icemule Trace. A mayoral candidate for the election of 5120, Hazelnut was captured by Barlan Kane during an scouting expedition to Moonsedge, a farming community near Olbin Pass. Mayor Talliver secured the scout's release when he escorted a group of adventurer's on a visit to Moonsedge.

Appearance

You see Hazelnut Honeybrook the Chronicler.
He appears to be a Paradis Halfling.
He is not tall, even for a halfling.  He appears to be in the spring of life.  He has bright hazel eyes and heavily freckled skin.  He has a shock of curly, tousled dark copper hair.  He has a youthful face, a small nose and a slender but fit build.  There is a constant flush to his cheeks, as if he has been caught mid-blush.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a pair of fuzzy earmuffs, a honey-hued topaz ear stud caught in a bright web of gold filaments, a small amber pendant carved into the shape of a hazel tree, a black combed wool doublet with a pair of honey oak mule collar pins over a heavy white wool shirt, a combed dark wool kilt, and a pair of dark-cuffed slouched leather boots.

Hazelnut Honeybrook was born and raised in Icemule Trace, but has spent over a decade outside of the boundaries of the town, traveling the world. He studied among the elves of Ta'Loenthra and is a working troubadour of some renown. His decision to seek the Tavern Burrow's nomination was a surprise to many business owners in the area, who say they back Honeybrook because of his business-friendly leanings and strong sense of integrity.

Honeybrook's platform has been difficult to nail down. He has expressed a strong desire to see Icemule Trace look outward to other cultures and make the town more welcoming to all peoples. Conscious of his political inexperience, he has vowed to seek sage advisors and engage in communal efforts to craft Icemule Trace's path forward.
