Tome Alone

a large ink-splattered wagon, [North Ring Road], Lich #225, go wagon

Tome Alone

[Tome Alone]
Octagonal lanterns hang from the tanik beams of the roof, illuminating the interior of the wagon. Ink stains almost every surface imaginable, creating a colorful assortment of drips, drops, splatters, and in some places, doodles. An ink-stained modwir desk, bolted to the floor, shows an assortment of books on its flat surface. Mounted on the wall is a hammered mithril and ora bin, proudly displaying a number of tubes and cylinders.
Obvious exits: out
In the Common language, it reads:

Greetings and salutations! Here is a bit of information on my wares.
The scrolls are produced by poorly skilled apprentices. THEY WILL NOT BE INFUSABLE BY A SORCERER. I REPEAT, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO INFUSE THEM.
The tubes, cylinders, and cases will only hold scrolls, parchments, papers, vellums, sheets, pages, palimpsests, and the like. Things you can roll up, not books.
The volumes on the desk are for writing down alchemical recipes. They come with a single recipe already inscribed.

Tome Alone, Backroom

Must cast Phase (704) at the door to enter.

[Tome Alone, Backroom]
A pair of flickering lanterns hangs from the beams of the roof. Compared to the front room of the wagon, this small work space is incredibly clean and devoid of ink stains. A threadbare red rug covers the floor.
Obvious exits: out
In the Common language, it reads:

These books are suitable for use with Planar Shift. More expensive than what you're used to, but frankly, they look much better.

In the iron-bound trunk you see:

a rolaren-bound cobalt leather codex 25,000
a thick gilt-embossed volume 25,000
