The Eternal Dream is a valence near Elanthia where thought and matter interact unpredictably. The surroundings react to the emotions and thoughts of living beings, sometimes with disastrous results. The Arkati Ronan routinely dwells in the Dream, guarding it from the machinations of Sheru.
While almost all sentient beings dream, unconscious minds rarely breach into the Dream itself. Those capable of performing this act at will are known as Dreamers.
