Stationery signet
|
Stationery signets or stationery signet rings are scripted rings that are capable of imprinting a signet onto stationery paper with prepared wax. They are part of the stationery system, which includes a variety of interconnected items. Stationery signets and wax were first introduced by GM Itzel via the merchant Periope. Customizations and unlocks have been sought after by many adventurers, as have special signet kits that contain a fully customized allotment of supplies. Stationery signets and waxes can be stored inside of a stationery box. Stationery signets and wax should not be confused with mail signets and wax, which utilize the mail system. It is possible to unlock a stationery signet to also be compatible with the mail system via an automated certificate. This certificate was first sold in 2022 at Agora Promenade's Let's Make a Seal shop, as part of the Trials of Lumnis event. This unlock certificate is still available at the shop, which is now permanently open with the full release of the Isle of Ornath and its Sleeping Drake Harbor. After applying this certificate, FLIP will freely convert the stationery signet into a mail signet and back again. SignetStationery signets utilize stationery wax to create a sealed imprint on stationery paper. They only work with stationery wax and stationery paper, which are part of the stationery system. They have a total of three tiers associated with them. Using LOOK will reveal the signet's material and its design:

Combined SignetStationery signets can both be unlocked to allow them to also work with the mail system and its related items. This unlock is available for both types of signets via two different certificates sold at Let's Make a Seal. FLIP changes which system the signet is currently set to work with between the stationery system and the mail system. This option is added onto the standard analyze of both versions of the signet. The signet's imprint design remains the same for both signet scripts.
This has been unlocked for use with the Player Mail System by using FLIP. This has been unlocked for use with the Writing System by using FLIP.
WaxStationery wax is used to seal stationery paper and serve as the basis for an embossed signet. It only works with stationery paper and stationery signets. Wax must be softened first by warming it via RUB before it is applied to stationery paper via PUSH. After applied the paper, it can be sealed with a signet. Stationery wax has a limited number of uses. It can be made permanent.
