Eloth Dai

The Eloth Dai were a clan of the Erithians.

The Eloth Dai was the most secretive and exclusive of the Erithian dais. They were the only dai to require permission from elders for non-clan members to marry into the clan. The Eloth were the greatest of the Erithian magic users, and believed that magical ability was carried in the blood. Thus, they believed in inter-marriage to preserve the ability of its clan. Two of the Erithian's greatest magic users, Tirathi Atelecha and Eliko Atelecha, were of the Eloth. As for appearance, the Eloth usually had very light colored skin, hair, and eyes. The name translated into "the sky clan" or "high clan." Their symbol was a grey owl.
