Duskruin Arena premiered in 2015 as the first "unattended" pay quest, meaning no GM intervention was required to start the quest. Players purchased entry from the SimuCoin Store for 100 SimuCoins. The event is free to watch. Since its inception, Duskruin has expanded beyond the initial single-person arena battles and sewer explorations to include team battles, endless battles, and the Bank Heist.

Release Announcement

Tucked away in seclusion near the Locksmehr River is place known as Bloodriven Village. Notorious to bandits, outlaws, and ruffians to congregate and do business. Located underground from the village, the infamous Duskruin Arena is a place of blood sports among the brave. Earn special scrip to buy a wealth of prizes. Many new items will be debuted at Bloodriven Village, such as scarring razors, pet rats, whisper cloaks, garrote knives, nerve staves, and much more! Be sure to stop out and view the interesting locales and people of Bloodriven Village!

Rumor has it, some couriers who smuggled goods and combatants into the village were ransacked. They were carrying coin pouches with bloodscrip and dueling slips, as well as simple handbills, to deliver to known fences around Elanthia. Be on the look out to find them in treasure chests while you hunt!

Areas to Play

• Arena - The namesake of this event. Battle it out against various creatures by yourself or with a group. Solo challengers can attempt to go the distance with with Duskruin Endless.
• Sewers - Not a fan of combat? Visit the sewers and search through the sluice for bloodscrip, flat etched stones, or various other items.
• Bank Heist - Added in 2018, the Bank Heist offers bloodscrip prizes, and is where players can get the pieces necessary to create a Bag of Holding.
• Celestial Temple - Former home of the Duskruin Dig. This now serves as the site for players to join all the moonshard moons with the four-ringed metal pendant to create a MoonShard pendant.

Features

Currency

The featured currency for Duskruin Arena is bloodscrip which is used to purchase goods and services from the various shops, including the HESS and WPS wagon. It can be found in the sewers and earned through arena bouts or participation in the bank heist.

Shopping

• Bloodriven Village - Bloodriven Village shops feature various exclusive items and finds, including Animalistic Spirit items, Cursed Armor, and more.
• HESS - Duskruin Arena offers the High End Scrip Shop, a shop that offers certificates to improve items or get your hands on rare items or ores.
• Treasure Trove - First introduced at Duskruin, the Treasure Trove raffles off a chance at unique wins. Players can enter using raffle tokens won at the Arena or found in the sewers or Bank Heist.

WPS

Players can visit the WPS smithy with an invitation to add weighting, padding, or sighting to their weapons or armor.

Bloodforge

Have ores from automatons fought in the arena? Visit the Bloodforge to transmute the metal, and thus the color, of a MoonShard pendant.

Blacksmith

Visit the Blacksmith for a chance at uncommon and rare slabs of metal for forging.
