The Festival of Lumnea is a semi-annual (and more recently biennial) celebration of Lumnis held in the month of Lumnea (June) by the elves of the shining city, [[Ta'Illistim]]. The Baerl Mystiaem, a masked costume ball held in a moonlit meadow near Ta'Illistim, is a long held tradition with festive dining and dancing where participants often make games of unmasking one another. Historically, during the Cere oen Deiama (Ceremony of Dawning), the city's scholars formally announce the list of tomes added to the Library Aies. Traditionally, Lumnea Meadow, outside the city, hosts a few Illistim merchants during the event. |
