Channeling crystal

Channeling crystals are made in the Trinkets subskill of Alchemy.

To use the crystals, they need to be held in the right hand when a character sends mana to someone. The crystals will amplify the amount of mana sent by some preset amount decided by the rank of the crystal. This will make up for low mana control skill on either the sending or receiving side. For the minor crystals, the amount of mana sent will not surpass the 95% limit. For the greater crystals, 100% transfer is assured.

They only work when the sender holds them, not the receiver. They do not have any other effect, like raising mana control skill. They do not create mana.

A sorcerer using a Minor demon can use the crystal to send mana to the demon; also, the demon can hold a crystal to send mana back to its master.

Mental channeling crystals

Mental channeling crystals amplify the mana sent between two mental professions. Bards and empaths fall into this category.

Minor mental channeling crystal

A minor mental channeling crystal can be made by an empath with 6 ranks in Trinkets.

Cloud agates are a Teras Isle-only gem. It is not available in the guild store.

Elemental channeling crystals

An elemental channeling crystal will amplify the amount of mana sent between two Elemental professions. This would exclude rangers, empaths, and clerics.

Minor elemental channeling crystal

A minor elemental channeling crystal can be made by a wizard with 6 ranks in Trinkets.

Greater elemental channeling crystal

The recipe for a greater elemental channeling crystal can be made by a wizard with 52 ranks in Trinkets.

A spiritual channeling crystal will amplify the amount of mana sent between two Spiritual professions. This would exclude wizards and bards.

Minor spiritual channeling crystal

A minor spiritual channeling crystal can be made in Alchemic Trinkets at rank 7, presumably by sorcerers, clerics, and empaths.

Lesser spiritual channeling crystal

A lesser spiritual channeling crystal can be made by a member of a spiritual profession with 30 ranks in Alchemic Trinkets.
