Locked

Locked items make one sound.

Analyze

You analyze your orchid brooch and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This item may be altered by a talented merchant, provided it remains mechanical in nature.

The current sound this brooch will emit is: distant applause
You can TAP the orchid brooch while wearing it.

You get no sense of whether or not the brooch may be further lightened.

Usage

Verb First Third
TAP As you tap your orchid brooch, the scratchy sound of distant applause echoes around you before fading away. In the open: The scratchy sound of distant applause seems to surround XXX before fading away.
From hiding: The scratchy sound of distant applause echoes nearby before fading away.

Unlocked

According to the sign in Island Sounds, the merchant added the option TURN that would allow for more sounds.
