Talleani Storyline North by Northwest Nations on the Brink Gender Female Race Half-elf Culture Vornavis Status Alive Hometown Solhaven Relationship(s) Plaitime Alias/Title Talon

Talleani is the ward of Plaitime (aka the Fat Man, aka the Skinny Man), a shady figure who has historic ties to both Solhaven and Mist Harbor. She has traveled with him between both of those towns when he had to relocate due to a falling out with the local Guilds, and she later helped him establish the Rogue's Guild in Mist Harbor. While Plaitime considers Talleani his ward, she is just as likely to tell him what to do. She has a sharp tongue, is skilled in hiding, and is perfectly fine with doing Plaitime's dirty work.

In Charlatos 5123, political flyers were seen around Wehnimer's Landing, at least one of which referenced the Skinny Man, likely from him and distributed by Talleani.

Later that same month, Talleani gathered locals from Solhaven's North Market to bring to Plaitime's home in Market Bend, where he shared some interesting news that he had learned by reading mail that did not belong to him. That tipped the locals off to a group of commoners that had recently departed Solhaven to travel to Ta'Illistim to express their anger about the death of Kasendra Malwind in Ta'Illistim two months earlier. Talleani more directly shared information, offering precise locations and dates for locating the commoners, apparently intent on getting help to stop them before they escalated political tensions between the east and west.

In Lumnea 5123, Talleani showed up at court, much to the surprise of Odelgarde Brindlestraffe who later admitted that she and Talleani had grown up together in Solhaven but they had grown apart after the incident of Shadows of Solhaven during the Griffin Sword War. She informed the court that she had protected Wilhard, the former Harbor Master who was to stand trial against the Pirate Bodohal, and that he was in continued danger. Shortly after that meeting, Plaitime was discovered floating in the bay.

In Koaratos 5123, as part of the Nations on the Brink Storyline, notes were found where she was communicating with an elven counterpart in Ta'Illistim that she called Yellow Rose.

In Phoenatos 5123, Talleani testified in a trial against the pirate Bodohal at that trial, she for the first time revealed her full name. Talleani Shadowkyn.

Appearance

You see Talleani.
She appears to be a Half-Elf from Vornavis.
She is shorter than average.  She appears to be very young.  She has gold-flecked sea green eyes and tanned skin.  She has long, dirty blonde hair worn in dagger-shorn, ragged lengths about her face.  She has a dirt-smeared, gaunt face and a grease-streaked, aquiline nose.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a penned scrap of paper in her right hand and a penned scrap of paper in her left hand.
She is wearing a cord-strung bone talisman, a ragged black linen longcoat missing several buttons, an over-sized brushed leather vest over a loose dirty white tunic, some ragged linen hand wrappings, an embossed suede gem pouch, a pair of grundgy cotton leggings with patched knees, and a pair of worn leather ankle-boots.

Background

Little is known as truth, but she bears a similar name to the Queen of Thieves from Jantalar before she became an ally of Vornavis, Talenni Shadowkyn
