(I'm feeling like this is no better. Still thinking of a way to add details to the tell portion of AC, and to make it a little bit more readable without adding too much "bulk")

Tell Commands

Syntax: TELL COMPANION TO <action>

Verb First Third
ATTACK This will request your companion to engage a beast or player. An ordrer to ATTACK will be performed immediately when the companion has not recently taken a combat action. All animal companions except canines can knock down their targets. In addition, avian companions can force their target into a more offensive stance, canine companions can disarm, feline companions sometimes deal damage twice, and rodent companions can hamstring. If you leave the room or if the target dies, the companion will cease the battle. Can be used in roundtime.
Your companion senses your atavistic feelings as his raw untamed emotions begin to surface and he turns his attention fully toward the stone gargoyle that he believes is the source of your irritation. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
BEHAVE Dictates how your companion will behave in combat. Neutral behavior is the default -- your companion will only ATTACK or GUARD when told to do so. Offensive behavior will allow your companion to follow up your attacks with their own, by automatically going into an ATTACK order. Defensive behavior will cause the companion to preemptively go into a GUARD order when you are attacked. Can be used in roundtime.
In same room: You cast a skeptical glance toward a XXX with a raised eyebrow, hoping to impress upon him your desire for him to behave. XXX casts a skeptical glance toward a YYY with a raised eyebrow.
In different room: You cast your thoughts to a XXX over the bond that you share, hoping that he is behaving whereever he is. XXX briefly gains a skeptical look on her face before her focus returns.
Neutral: You impress upon a XXX to stay back when you are engaged in combat. N/A
Offensive: You impress upon a XXX to fight by your side when engaged in combat. N/A
Defensive: You impress upon a XXX to defend you when you are attacked. N/A
GUARD This requests your companion to shield you when you are in need of some help. An order to GUARD will be performed immediately when the companion has not recently taken a combat action. Can be used in roundtime.
Your companion wanders closer as he detects your desire for protection.

Your companion takes up a position of watchful wariness in front of you.

A YYY takes up a position of watchful wariness in front of XXX.
WANDER Basically giving your companion the freedom to wander about the area. The companion will wander until told to cease.
You impress upon your companion the thought of boundless freedom and sense an eagerness from him to explore in return. N/A
RETURN Brings your companion to your side. Can be used in roundtime.
Your desire to see your companion again attracts his attention and you feel him start to race to meet you. N/A
FEED This will have your companion looking for food if it's around.
You concentrate on the tastes and smells of food and focusing it down the link to your companion. After a few moments you feel the hunger pangs that this induces in your companion. N/A
A XXX takes a bite of a ginger-spiced grilled bass filet.
LEAVE This will send the companion away until you cast it again. It should appear as it left your side.
Your feelings push outward in askance of your companion to rest. The link carries back his discontent but grudging agreement to leave for now. N/A
A slight whisper of wind is the only indication that a XXX has wandered off.
SCOUT Sends your companion forth to get a count of other players and creatures in the area.
Your desire for reconnaissance of the surroundings sends a sense of urgency through the link to your companion.

As your companion moves swiftly through his surroundings, you sense the presence of 1 person and 1 other animal companion in the immediate area.

CEASE This will stop all commands that you have given to the companion, such as telling it to wander then stopping it. This will also keep the companion from emitting ambient messaging. Can be used in roundtime.

TRACK Requests your companion locate a player. Certain restrictions are involved with this as companions dislike to venture into some areas or to far from your side.
Success: You focus your desires and express them outward to your companion, passing your impressions of XXX and the feeling of need to locate her. You feel the awareness of your companion's senses open outward and a sense of satisfaction filters back to you. N/A
Individual in your room: Your companion glances at you with a worried look in his eyes -- almost as if questioning your mental faculties. N/A
Individual not logged in: Your companion sniffs at the air briefly, then cocks his head at you in confusion. N/A
NUDGE (non-avian) For all companions that don't fly, this allows them to propel various objects about by applying a modicum of nose-power.
Failure: You focus your desires on the need to move the chrysoprase gem. Try as she might though, she is unable to move it for some reason.

DRAG (canine and feline) The canine and feline companions will frolic about with corpses if asked politely. This allows you to ask them to drag the stiffs in certain directions.
Rodent:As you consider asking your companion into dragging XXX,

you decide it would be nice but it would likely end up with XXX rolling over your companion and crushing him. This would likely annoy him a great deal. Roundtime: 11 sec.

Canine/Feline, living target: You focus your desires on the need to drag XXX. This filters down along the link to your companion and wanting to impress you, she tries to drag her but fails.

MESSAGE (avian only) Avian companions can deliver messages to others adventurers. There are restrictions to what the companion can deliver. Beware what you write, most of the more intelligent companions have a slight understanding of the written word.
You hurriedly scratch out a few lines of text on a scrap of paper and wrap it around your companion's leg. Then you impress upon her your desire that XXX should have this trinket. Being in a good mood, your companion acquiesces and starts to hunt for her.

A XXX takes to the air and swiftly flies off.

You sense that your companion has delivered your message to XXX in or around XXX.

Message receiver: A XXX soars in.

The XXX pecks your leg and then peels a small scrap of paper from around her leg which she drops at your feet. Roundtime: 5 sec.

SIT This will let the companion know that you desire it to sit down.
Your thoughts filter outward, impressing upon your companion the desire that he should sit. N/A
