Karsch was a Krolvin slasher and lieutenant of Sankir the Bloodfist.

Karsch was part of Sankir's occupation force in the town of River's Rest in 5103. Karsch was also the first of Sankir's lieutenants to begin a charade to expose those town citizens who were rebelling against the occupation. He began this by showing up at a memorial to a girl that Sankir had drowned earlier that night and expressing remorse. He then move towards a conspiracy to eliminate Sankir, on grounds of madness, and to leave the island. Ultimately, the plot grew from including approximately six to seven individuals to nearly the entire adventurer population of the town. It resulted in a trap that was sprung aboard Sankir's galleon and involved Khortal and Gkig, as well.

Karsch soon after departed the town with Sankir for Solhaven, never to be seen alive again. His body was later find on the Isle of Dehkat.

Behind the Scenes

Karsch's Appearance

You see Karsch the Krolvin Slasher.
The Slasher has a vaguely ape-like appearance. It has long dexterous fingers capped by long nails. Its skin is a grayish-blue and it has thick white hair covering its head and spreading across its shoulders and down its back.
He is wearing a heavy backpack, some hammered steel leg greaves, a steel-studded black leather tasse, a weathered black leather cape frayed and torn along the hem, some cuffed black leather boots, a salt-smeared leather vest, a battered steel breastplate, a salt-covered black leather pouch, some hammered steel arm greaves, a rusty iron-mesh sheath, a battered steel shield, and a crystal amulet.

Karsch's Body

[Dehkat, Krolvin Village]
At the edge of the krolvin village it is readily apparent that the area was subjected to a brutal attack many years ago, and never recovered. The valley floor is large and flat, surrounded by the looming jagged edges of the broken volcano rim in a half-circle. Examining the sprawl of devastation, one can still discern that before the ravaging this settlement had evolved for many centuries and still shows elements of ingenuity in the wrecked layout. You also see a joyous will-o-wisp spirit that is flying around, the slaughtered corpse of Karsch and a massive scorched bamboo hut.

The remains of the krolvin wannabe Bloodfist. It looks as though he was used to floss a shark.
