Niima's Promise
The Niima's Promise is the name of an exploration caravel captained by Elyssbeth whose First Mate is Jothi. This ship is a a lateen-rigged exploration caravel that can be sailed with at least six people. At one point, its crew included Jorgenson, Gyxsy, Mairn, and Zevvy. The Niima's Promise was commissioned out of Ta'Loenthra somewhere around 5071 according to Jothi. The crew would explore the coast searching for hidden coves and lost relics, but then they sailed into Caligos Isle in 2017 after Junderthal invited many merchants and adventurers to the island. Once there, Elyssbeth discovered a signet ring that put her under the control of Ghezresh, and she refused to leave the isle.
[Caligos Isle, Pier] Squawking birds of all sizes wheel overhead, making strafing runs atop the water and plunging dives beneath it to secure a meal. Successful hunters perch upon the handrails to devour their prize, mobbed by would-be meal thieves. The planked decking underfoot creaks rhythmically in time with the incoming waves sent forth by the roiling, blue-green seas surrounding the harbor. You also see a monolithic limestone walrus statue with an enameled seashell bucket on it, a rheumy-eyed half-elven sailor, a lateen-rigged exploration caravel and a warped oak shack. >look caravel Lateen-rigged for speed, the exploration caravel is comprised of alternating teak and linden panels finished with polished brass fixtures. The large aft-castle has stained glass windows of azure inlaid with stone grey dolphins cresting pearl-topped waves. Sails of azure are tightly wrapped about the main and foremasts, while the mizzen remains untethered and flaps gently to and fro under the push and pull of the seaborne breeze.
In 2021 at the conclusion of Ebon Gate quest A Tale of Love in Prime, adventurers saw the caravel leave port to travel once more.

A series of smooth stone steps leads to a haphazard dock where a lateen-rigged exploration caravel sits at anchor. You also see a silver-eyed lithe elven woman, an indigo-tailed black cockatoo and a rheumy-eyed half-elven sailor that is kneeling. Obvious paths: none Looking past Elyssbeth, he says, "Thank you. To everyone that helped return her to me, thank you." Having said his peace, he guides her to the caravel with the cockatoo soaring behind them.
