Synopsis

The resistance with the black thorns hold their weekly meeting at the River Tower to discuss the meeting that future Baron Elidal has sought with them later in the evening, and settle upon a few speakers for the night and their overall message and intent. As they're concluding the meeting, Mother makes an appearance and brings word of the Rooks' own message and intent for spring.

Both groups engage in a discussion, laying out their similarities and differences in approach, treatment from others, and ideas moving forward. Though there are vocal disagreements regarding what to do and when to do it, the Black Thorns and Rooks do reach a minor accord in as much as inviting peace between the two the groups; Mother also offers that the Thorns may request supplies from local shops that have been barring them and the Rooks will provide.

[River Tower West, Roof]

You are atop the northwest guardtower that watches over the waterway into Wehnimer's Landing. Across the river to the east, you see the matching tower with its four guards watching the boat traffic and the threatening waters of Darkstone Bay, which lies to the north. A few errant vines climb along the south side of the tower. You also see a thick ebon wolf hide bag, the scuffed copper Queatus disk wreathed in miniature floating lockpicks, the malachite Jadedragan disk, a rough oak table with some stuff on it, a melancholy mountain spirit that is flying around, the Lageiros disk, the sparking Dendum disk, a resplendent obsidian black raven that is flying around, the Ulryka disk, a circular stain of sap, the drake-incised Draelor disk and a massive grey wolf.

Leafiara says, "Eh, even I have one of Amos' hand pylons. I can't unbuy what's been bought, so..."

Dendum says, "It is great and ancient tradition...to start five minutes late."

Lithyia says, "Well tomorrow I will have a new outfit anyway."

Queatus says, "Some thorn earrings in the bag if you would like to accessorize."

Lithyia says, "I'm thinking amethyst and black."

Draelor says, "Five minutes late is when Yardie shows up anyways."

Speaking quietly to Lithyia, Nyaria asks, "You will wait that long?"

Ulryka quietly says, "Yardie always tardy to the party."

Lithyia says, "It will be difficult to wait all night to change but yes, I can do it."

A massive grey wolf barks loudly!

Nyaria quietly says, "I should have a gown with me to spare..."

Speaking to a massive grey wolf, Draelor says, "That too, yes."

Lithyia says, "I am going to try and stay up til later this evening...but i cannot guarantee..."

Lithyia says, "I like sleeping."

Nyaria quietly says, "Of course i have piles of so much other stuff."

Queatus offers Ceilia a stamped jet black notice.

Leafiara says, "The Drakes as an organization are nonpolitical anyway, but yeah, probably Bear or others might have wanted to be here."

Leafiara says, "But it's fine, we're short on time before Elidal's supposed meeting tonight."

Dendum says, "Thadston has been silent since the coming of the empire..."

Lithyia says, "Well Thadston has thrown some chairs..."

Speaking to Dendum, Queatus says, "Well, he took the time to insult us."

Speaking to Yardie, Draelor says, "More expected sadly."

Jadedragan says, "This keeps feeling like we're pushing more and more toward some kind of altercation."

Speaking to Chamorr, Dendum asks, ""Bear....you have heard about the Baron request to talk?"

Leafiara says, "About the only good thing I can say about Thadston at this point is that at least he hasn't yet ordered the militia or town guards to build walls and towers for the Empire. Some of our people just do that on their own for some reason."

Speaking to Chamorr, Ceilia says, "Stirring implement for you, sir."

Speaking to Jadedragan, Vaemyr says, "The merchants, like the citizens are free to do as they wish. I don't personally agree with Amos's approach... it's too well broad I think is the word. But they are free to do it, no mayor approval required. They own their own shops."

Speaking quietly to Leafiara, Ulryka says, "Roltons, the lot."

Speaking drunkenly to Leafiara, Gutstorm slurs, "Me wanted me own tower...."

Yardie asks, "Have we heard from the reivers?"
