Salnim Malwind

Salnim Malwind is the son of Baron Dunrith Malwind of Vornavis, the brother of Athalia Aricia Malwind, and heir apparent to the baronial seat of Vornavis. He is also the Eastern Sentinel of the Turamzzyrian Empire.

A thick pale scar runs from just above his left eyebrow up across his forehead into his hairline. The hair above the scar is stark white. He is in good shape. He is wearing a golden coronet etched with swans, a dark crimson velvet cloak trimmed in soft black fox fur, an antiqued gold holly pin with white pearl berries, a red and gold jacquard tunic, a smooth white gold band, a pair of fitted black breeches with rounded gold buttons, and a pair of ebon leather boots with mother-of-pearl buckles.

Born in approximately 5086.
Salnim has seen at Court on several occasions and would engage as appropriate, but always gave the appearance of a patient and thoughtful individual. When his father was accused of treachery, he took it upon himself to prove his innocence and he was instrumental in getting his father expunged of the accusations of murder in 5106-5107 during the Imperial Inquisition of Baron Malwind.
He served as envoy of the empire to parlay with Sir Davard Priot, the Commander of the Taladorian army that was besieging Wehnimer's Landing.
He and his wife, Kasendra Malwind, were instrumental in forging the Valley of Gold accord between Ta'Illistim and the Turamzzyrian Empire. After Kasendra's murder, as a way through his grief he continued to focus on those efforts even further. He was named Eastern Sentinel by the Emperor on Eorgaen 19, 5123, in recognition of those efforts and to improve relations between the Empire and the elves of the Wyrdeep.
