Bonuses to hiding and sneaking for 3 minutes (refreshable). All ranks provide incremental bonuses to Hide and Sneak success rates. Roundtime bonuses are available at the following ranks:
- Rank 3: -1 RT to Sneak
- Rank 4: -1 RT to Hide
- Rank 5: -1 RT to Hide and Sneak (Unlike the other bonuses, this benefit is always present, regardless of whether Shadow Mastery is activated or not)
You become master of the shadows.
Shadow mastery has a fixed stamina cost of 20 and lasts for 3 minutes, but this cost triples to 60 if it is used during the effect's "cooldown" period, which lasts for 5 minutes after activation. Note that if the maneuver is active on a character with 5 ranks, the effects of the third, fourth, and fifth ranks are cumulative, nominally reducing hiding and sneaking from the standard 3 seconds down to 1 second while activated. With Rank 1 of Shadow Dance, a rogue will have Shadow Mastery permanently active with no stamina cost.
Rank 4 of Shadow Mastery is also a prerequisite for rogues to learn Vanish. Rank 5 of Shadow Mastery is also a prerequisite for rogues to learn Shadow Dance.
