Wand bows are ranged weapons that can be temporarily loaded with standard wizard wands to imbue its ammunition with flares. Tier 1Locked bows are restricted to one of fire, cold, lightning, or acid flares, and they can only accept the corresponding wand for that flare type.AnalyzeThe creator has also provided the following information: This is a bow that can be loaded with the following wands to impart elemental flares on the arrows/bolts it shoots as appropriate by the wand: Metal or Blue wands - Cold flares You can load the magic into the weapon by holding the weapon in one hand and the appropriate wand in another and using LOAD. There is special messaging for the LOAD, FIRE, LOOK, and SHOW verbs. Usage
Tier 2Fully unlocked wand bows can take wands of every type. The resulting flare corresponds to the type of wand added to the bow.Additional InformationWand bows can be sold or altered with any description that adheres to ALTER guidelines, such as to a recurve ruic composite bow with a blue suede grip. While a wand bow is loaded, any ammunition will have a 100% chance of flaring, provided that it is not currently blessed or elementally bladed. They can be further modified via player services, such as enchanting and sighting. Flare ExampleAdditional lines are added to the combat messaging when the wand bow's flare effect is applied to the arrow via standard use of the FIRE command. The text varies depending on the wand and flare type. You nock an arrow in your ruic composite bow.
