Olba vial

The Olba vial is a lightly scripted roleplaying item that, when unlocked, allows the user to annoint the area around them in the name of their Arkati. It was originally sold at Sister Olba's Holy House in 2006 as a smooth glass vial. An updated version that is neckworn was available as a carnival game prize at the 2014 Ebon Gate Festival. A similar vial may have been sold in Sister Olba's Wandering Wagon in Briarmoon Cove in 2020. The vial does not seem to run out of oil. A LOOK in the vial shows: There is a modest amount of holy oil in the glass vial. OTS Analyze You analyze your glass vial and sense that there is no recorded information on that item. It may or may not be able to be worked on by a merchant alterer. Try as you might, you cannot get a good sense of whether or not the vial's pockets could get any deeper, but you might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the glass vial for you. Usage Verb First Third CLOSE You plug your vial with your crystal stopper. XXX replaces the stopper on her vial. OPEN You easily remove the crystal stopper from your vial. XXX removes the stopper from her vial. RUB You meticulously remove any smudges on your glass vial. XXX works at cleaning her vial. SPRINKLE You sprinkle some oil from your vial all around you, blessing the nearby area. XXX sprinkles some oil from her vial around her. TURN You gently swirl the oil within your glass vial. XXX gently swirls the oil within her vial. Unlocked Unlocking this item converts it to a holy item, changes the messaging of SPRINKLE, and unlocks the verb trap for RAISE. Usage Verb First Third RAISE You raise your glass vial above you, silently seeking a blessing from your <converted deity>. XXX raises her vial above her. SPRINKLE You sprinkle some oil from your vial all around you, annointing the ground in the name of <converted deity>. XXX annoints the ground with some oil from her vial. SPRINKLE (wearable version, when worn) You reverently raise your silver crystal vial to your lips, silently seeking a blessing from your <converted deity>. XXX reverently raises her vial to her lips.
