:Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the six images with no person cited, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 11:46, 6 June 2023 (CDT) |

* User talk:HALEM20: Hi there, HALEM20. Thank you for your recent work getting the information about the upcoming Blood that Binds storyline onto the wiki. I noticed that you included an image on the storyline page, :File:Blood that Binds.png, that you cited was "provided by GM Naionna". The GSwiki requires specific attribution information on images to be clearly stated, such as the artist name and, if the artist is not the uploader, if permission was given to upload the image. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki, as well as noting if permission was granted to upload it. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Additionally, if the image was created using AI software, you will need to note what software was used to create it. Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:37, 7 June 2023 (CDT) |

Uploaded Image Patrols
Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.
- User_talk:LALAMJ: Hello! It has been nice getting to know Abilene on her character page. While I was looking at the image on her page, "Abilene.jpeg", I noticed that it did not have information about the original source or that permission was granted to use it. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the artwork, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:47, 14 September 2022 (CDT)
- User talk:ALLENM20: Hello! I enjoyed viewing the artwork on your character page for Nemdenia (platinum). While I was reviewing the recent updates on it, I noticed that you did not include the artist or copyright information on the page itself for the image that you uploaded, "Nemdenia Portrait.png". That information must be noted on the page using the image, not just in the image's metadata. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:35, 8 November 2022 (CST)
- User talk:KITHUS: Hi, there! Thank you very much for your many contributions to the wiki. While doing some patrols of recently (and not-so-recently) updated pages, I noticed that you uploaded several images for guides you authored that do not have artist or copyright information on the pages where they are displayed. Specifically, I am referring to "Issalya_portrait.jpg" on Comprehensive Wizard Guide; "Necromancer.jpg" on Comprehensive Sorcerer Guide; "Bard_Weapons.jpg" on Comprehensive Bard Guide; "Ranger_and_wolf.jpg" on Comprehensive Ranger Guide; plus "Empath.jpg", "Warpath.jpg", and "Dissector.jpg" on Elanthia 5e. In addition, I could not find anything about the various Arkati symbols on the Elanthia 5e page; they appear to be made and uploaded specifically for it.
- This information must be noted on the page using the image, not just in the image's metadata. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images for which you have permission to uploaded onto GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the artwork, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Any artwork that is official Simutronics artwork does NOT need this. Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:21, 17 November 2022 (CST)
- User talk:BURGHALGNOME: Hello! I enjoyed reading about your character, Dendum. While I was reviewing updates on his character page, Dendum (prime), I noticed that you did not include the artist or source information for following images on that page: File:Dendumavatar.png, File:Basingstoke.png, File:Greengairvillage.png, File:Wendwillowvillage.png, and File:Dendumjune.png. The artist's name or source must be noted for images uploaded to the wiki. Additionally, if any images were created using AI software, you will need to note what software was used to create them. Unfortunately simply stating that you own the copyright to the image is not sufficient. As an example, it can be as simple as, "Image created by the uploader using MidJourney" (or whatever software is appropriate). Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 10:34, 19 December 2022 (CST)
- User talk:INDIFFERENT: Hello! I enjoyed reading about your character, Esana. While I was reviewing updates on her character page Esana (prime), I noticed that you did not include the artist or copyright information on the page itself the image File:Esana.jpg that was recently added to it. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the image, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. - User talk:BRIELLE: Hello! I enjoyed reading about your character, Yukito. While I was reviewing updates on his character page Yukito (prime), I noticed that you did not include the artist or copyright information on the page itself for two images, File:Yukito wiki.jpg and File:Yukito Said.jpg. Additionally, if the image was created using AI software, you will need to note what software was used to create it. Unfortunately simply stating that you own the copyright to the image is not sufficient, nor is displaying a watermark on the image itself. As an example, attribution can be as simple as, "Image created by the uploader using MidJourney" (or whatever software is appropriate). Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:57, 4 January 2023 (CST)

- User talk:SMITHS89: Hello! I enjoyed reading about your character, Akenna. While I was reviewing updates on her character page Akenna (prime), I noticed that you did not include the artist or copyright information on the page itself the image File:Akenna Final (2).jpg that is displayed on it. Additionally, if the image was created using AI software, you will need to note what software was used to create it. Unfortunately simply stating that you own the copyright to the image is not sufficient, nor is the presence of an artist's signature or watermark. - User talk:ZEUS: Hello! I enjoyed reading about your character, Sayakah. While I was reviewing updates on her character page Sayakah (platinum), I noticed that you did not include the artist or copyright information on the page itself the image File:Sayakah and Ghost.png that is displayed on it. Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. - User talk:BURGHALGNOME: Hi there, BURGHALGNOME. I enjoyed reading the recent article you helped write, Free North News Issue 3. Thank you for including which AI software was used for the accompanying images with the article. However, I did notice that you did not include full attribution information for them, such as who created them (for four of the six images) or if permission was granted to upload them (for the ones that you did not create). The seven images are as follows:
- File:THAT advertisement.png - Was this image uploaded with permission by the creator?
- File:THAT recruitment.png - Was this image uploaded with permission by the creator?
- File:Lithnobasket.png - Who generated this image? Was it uploaded with permission by the creator if that person is not you?
- File:Thornimpfashion1.png - Who generated this image? Was it uploaded with permission by the creator if that person is not you?
- File:Thornimpfashion2.png - Who generated this image? Was it uploaded with permission by the creator if that person is not you?
- File:Thornimpfashion3.png - Who generated this image? Was it uploaded with permission by the creator if that person is not you?
- Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the five with no person cited, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Thanks for understanding! I'll check back in soon to see if this information has been updated. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:08, 2 May 2023 (CDT)
- Correction: File:Freenorthnews.png does have full attribution information on the image itself. You can disregard the above for this specific image. I will be editing the Free North News Issue 3 article to update the attribution information for that displayed image. Apologies for that oversight. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:16, 2 May 2023 (CDT)
- User talk:DIEHLS: Hi there, DIEHLS. I enjoyed reading the article that you helped to write, Black Thorn Resistance/Free North News Issue 4, which you appeared to draft initially on your user page, User:DIEHLS. Thank you for including which AI software was used for the accompanying images. However, I did notice that you did not include full attribution information for them on both the article and your user page. For the below six images, I see that you uploaded them. If you are the image creator, then you will need to note that specifically. If you are not, you will need to note who created them and whether permission was given by them to you to upload them. Those six images are as follows and will need that information clearly stated on both the article and on your user page:
- In addition:
- File:Freenorthnews.png - I am updating the text on both the article and on your user page to note the information provided on the file itself, as that information was previously noted by the person who uploaded the image.
- Please see Help:Style#Copyrights for more information about the requirement to provide the source and artist name for all images uploaded to GSwiki. If you are the artist who created the six images with no person cited, you can simply note that instead. If you need an example of how to do this, the character page Arenglae (prime) does this very clearly for all of the portraits. Thanks for understanding!
