Animated dead weaponry was created by GameMaster Zissu and released at Duskruin Arena at At The Ready in August 2020. These items are usually wands that, when waved at an animated creature corpse, will create a weapon for the animate. They have 3 Tiers of potency. Wands can be GAZEed at to change the messaging, or INFUSEd to change the weapon summoned if the wand has more than 1 available. Animate wands can be blessed directly.

Tier 1

Creates a 4x weapon of the purchased type.

Analyze

You analyze the wrought iron stake and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

Improves weapon created with the wand to 6x.

Tier 3

Improves weapon created with the wand to 8x. In addition, at Tier 3, additional weapon types and abilities can be unlocked via certificates.

Additionally, there are different weapon summoning messaging options, with certificates available to unlock them.

Additional information

Bless

When you wave your wand to create an animate weapon type with no flares and your wand is blessed, it will be created with 50 charges of bless, leaving the remaining charges on the wand. You can wave the wand at your animate to transfer another 50 charges to an unblessed animate weapon, or transfer an additional 50 charges to an already blessed animate weapon.

When blessing the wands, they are considered magical weapons of an enchant that the weapon would be when determining charges. Cleric blessings will work as usual, adding holy water flares as part of the bless.
