The Book-inator is a fluff and private property storage script that applies to container and miscellaneous items. It was originally released at Ebon Gate 2025. It offers weightless storage of up to 25 books. It comes in both bookcase and bookbag form; bookcases can be installed in private properties. Not all books work with the Book-inator.

The Book-inator
This device is designed to store non-library books.  Due to the nature of this device and its storage capacity, it can't hold ALL non-library books as the data stored in/on some of them can sometimes be too large.

Use
PUT     - Allows you to place a book inside.
LOOK    - Displays a list of stored books.
PLUCK   - Removes a stored book.
WHISPER - Tags a book for removal.

A raw-edged petrified haon shelf can hold a maximum of 25 books.

BRUSH	You brush your fingertips lightly across the spine of a worn suede-bound journal that rests upon a raw-edged petrified haon shelf, relishing the texture beneath your touch. LOOK	You step closer to a raw-edged petrified haon shelf, your eyes moving across its contents. You see... 1. an embossed dark brown tome Fashioned of dark brown goat hide, the tome is embossed with a small missive that reads, "Philomaera: A Tale of the Goating." 2. a worn buckskin journal Small and compact, the journal is fashioned from hardened buckskin and filled with off-white pages. Tidy catgut stitching at the spin keeps cover and pages bound together, while short blocky letters are stamped into the top, proclaiming the piece as "Lark and Lyric by Alouetta Lebouffan." At the very bottom is a short missive, "For Person, whose thoughts like rivers flow, Through hidden depths where few dare go. May pages hold what silence keeps, And stir the soul where memory sleeps. ~*~ Alouetta 3. a thin violet suede storybook (On Display) Stretching across the cover, buttery soft violet suede protects the bound pages of the storybook Embossed into the center is a lamppost decorated with an autumn-hued ivy vine. In the lower right corner is the image of a blackbird wearing a tri-liripipe hat decorated in bright yellow and white diamonds. Stamped into the spine are the words "The Lamplighter and the Fool by Alouetta Lebouffan."	Person steps closer to a raw-edged petrified haon shelf, her eyes moving across its contents.
	Display a list of stored books.
PLUCK	You slide your fingers along the row stored upon a thick shelf bearing interlocking runes until they touch upon a thick azure volume. With a careful tug, you ease the volume free from its place, the sound of separating bindings soft and brief. 	Remove a stored book.
PONDER	You quietly scan the titles and bindings of the books stored upon the shelf. After a moment, an embossed dark brown tome catches your interest.	Person quietly scans the shelf, pausing for a moment to contemplate an embossed dark brown tome before letting her gaze move on.
	Selects a random book on the shelf.
PUSH	You adjust a few uneven volumes on the shelf, sliding them into line until the row stands neatly aligned with an embossed dark brown tome.	Person straightens a few books on the shelf, nudging them back into a tidy row that aligns them with an embossed dark brown tome.
PUT	You slide a thick azure volume carefully into its place on a thick shelf bearing interlocking runes, pressing the spine flush with its neighbors until it stands neatly in line. 	Place a book inside.
WHISPER	You quietly murmur to yourself, your fingers dancing across the spines of the books stored upon a broad shelf edged in a runic motif and gingerly pull forward a dark blood red leather tome.	Person steps closer to a thick shelf bearing interlocking runes, her eyes moving across its contents.
	Select a book for removal.

Additional Information

A Book-inator can hold multiple books together which then can be selected individually for retrieval.

When installed in a private property, the Book-inator consists of individual shelves, which can be nested in the form of multiple Book-inator shelves within a larger bookcase.

Not all books work with the Book-inator. For example, Writable books and the Elanthian Binder do NOT work due to storage limit restrictions. Many Gloumerrick books and Library books are compatible, but some are not. See the list of compatible books for more information.

A Book-inator was first made available as part of a private property improvement associated with a 2025 Ebon Gate raffle win. The script was then made available for sale in 2026 at Rumor Woods in the Vintage Visions shop.
