Since mid-2015 there has been a considerable amount of development with Hot Summer Nights 2015, the Elemental Lore Review, and the Teleportation review.

Pages with this banner have been affected by development and are in various stages of update progress, but not yet complete.

Haste reduces nearly all roundtimes (RT) except for the offensive combat actions, and selected utility actions, that are affected by the Celerity spell. Example areas of RT reduction are the imposed RT from offensive creature and combat maneuvers carried out against the caster, or the movement RT incurred when traversing certain obstacles. Training in additional ranks of the Major Elemental spell circle (benefit capped at level) and Elemental Lore, Air increase the RT reduction by 1% for every five ranks, as shown in the following formula:

Haste formula.gif

The maximum possible RT reduction that can be attained with this spell is a 60% reduction of the original RT. With this maximum reduction, the end result would be 40% of the original RT (e.g. a 10-second RT would be reduced to 4 seconds, and a 20-second RT would be reduced to 8 seconds). This maximum benefit is attained when MjE ranks + EL:Air ranks = 200.

The base RT reduction for this spell is 20%. Thus, without any training in Elemental Lore, Air and the minimum 35 ranks in Major Elemental spell circle, the caster will see RTs reduced by 27%, and will therefore see 73% of the original RT (10 seconds would be reduced to 7.3, and 20 seconds would be reduced to 14.6 -- the formula rounds down, resulting in RTs of 7 seconds and 14 seconds, respectively.)

Lore Benefits

Training in Elemental Lore, Air reduces RT by 1% for every five ranks, limited by the maximum total reduction of 60%.
