Voucher Options
Some of the below items make use of the DELAYED system for tracking when the certificates are redeemed and updates completed. The process moves from "purchased" (certificate purchased) to "issued" (certificate redeemed) to "claimed" (a GM has assigned themselves to this work item) to "completed" (work completed). Items that apply customizations but do not use the DELAYED system require the voucher to be taken to a GALD merchant (or Sadie scroll) beforehand to fill out all required or requested fields before the voucher is applied to a given room.

Property Permanency
This will allow you to make your property permanent. You must stand in your property and whisper the name of the property to the deed before submitting it.

This is for those who have properties with an older style rent system, where silvers have to be paid regularly for rent or the property will be repossessed. Using this certificate will permanently remove the need for rent.

This uses the DELAYED system.

Keyless Entry
This will allow you to apply keyless entry to your property's entry and any other doors that you do not want others to go through. To use it, stand on the OUTSIDE of the door that you want to be able to enter through. This will allow the INSIDE to let others exit the space if you are not around.

Using this voucher on the exterior door of your property sets it up so that you as well as any guest with a key can simply GO DOOR (or whatever the entry portal noun is) to enter the property without having to take the key out. The person trying to enter the property must either have the key in hand, worn on them, or on a keyring that is worn by them. If the key is inside any other container than a worn keyring, you will not be able to enter the property until you take the key out. The door has to be closed and locked for this to work.

This is redeemed by the property owner on the entry doorway. It automatically impacts all keys for the property. Guests cannot be locked inside the property; they will be able to exit through the exit portal (such as a door) even if it is closed and locked.

Specially scripted property entry doors, such as Password/Whisper Doors, are not eligible due to script incompatibility.

This does not use the DELAYED system.

Teleporting Key/Transporting Key
This turns one of your keys into a transportation key. This will provide teleportation services for your item. You must whisper to the slip the specific key you wish to have the service added to.

A teleporting key can be used as one way cross-realm travel to your property. These are typically set up to either teleport you to just outside or just inside the front door. Use a teleport key via TURN. Only the homeowner can use a teleport key. It will not work for anyone else even if the teleporting key is given to another character.

Teleporting to a property can be done in any outdoors room that is flagged as being in a town (or is close enough to a town to be considered in town for teleportation purposes, such as certain areas of Kraken's Fall). Teleporting keys cannot be used when on Mist Harbor. Teleporting keys are one way; once you have teleported to your home, you will have to exit it normally and walk (or sail) back to wherever you came from.

This uses the DELAYED system.

Property Design/Alter Certificate
Also known as the Bungalow Slips or Bungalow Alter Certificates, these allow you to design and alter an item on your property. Simply POINT the slip AT the item you want to design and then begin working with the slip.

There are two versions of this type of certificate. Both versions require the slip/certificate to be attuned with an existing object in a room before they can be modified.

The original Bungalow Slips require the property owner to utilize a live merchant GALD service (or Sadie scroll) to create an alteration design on the certificate. All standard merchant fees apply as if it were a normal object alteration.

A newer Property Design Certificate was introduced at Rumor Woods 2023 which makes use of the DELAYED verb for the entire alteration/design process. Instead of bringing the certificate to a live GALD merchant (or Sadie scroll), the requested alteration is reviewed and approved remotely through the DELAYED system. There are no additional merchant fees applied.

In both cases, once the alteration design has been applied to the slip/certificate by a GM or merchant, the slip/certificate can be used to change the description of one object in the room.

This was first introduced with the Bungalow Slips as this was the only way for individual pre-made bungalows to have the objects located inside customized. Bungalow Slips and Property Design Certificates are interchangeable and can be used with either Bungalow System properties or Private Property System properties. These are useful for adding, changing, or updating the description of an existing object in either style property.

Move a Room Item
A minute furniture mover request will allow you to move a permanent item in your property in, on, behind, or under another item in your property. You must stand in the room the item is in and whisper to the request before submitting it.

This certificate allows you to move any object (that you can interact with) which already appears in the "You also see" line following the room description so that it no longer shows in that line. The object can be moved to be in, on, under, or behind another object (that you can interact with) that is in the same room.

For example, if your room looks like:
<prelog2>
[Your Home, Kitchen]
This home is pretty cozy on the inside, with a large fireplace set into one wall opposite a pair of curtain-draped windows. A large table with an ample workspace stands in the center. Several jars and a decorative pot rest on a windowsill above a wash basin, a small stove standing nearby. There is a fancy wooden cabinet standing against one wall. It smells like recently baked cookies.
You also see a doorway and a plain trash can.
Obvious exists: north
</pre>
You can request that your "plain trash can" be moved so that it is located under the "large table" object that already exists in the room. Once moved, you will only ever see the trash can if you LOOK UNDER TABLE. You will still be able to interact with it. The end result looks like:
<prelog2>
You also see a doorway.
Obvious exists: north
>look under table
Under the large table you see a plain trash can.
</pre>

This is especially handy if you do not like having many objects in the "You also see" line or if you have an object that would make more sense to be located on, in, under, or behind another object also in the room.

Note: If you are moving an object to be on, in, under, or behind an existing storage container (such as moving a vase onto a table that already has storage set up to be ON the table), then this may reduce the total available storage capacity for that container.

This uses the DELAYED system.

Imbed a Room Item
This will allow you to embed a permanent item into the room description of your property. It will need to go through QC and the requested item MUST already be mentioned but unlinked in your room description. We are not rewriting room descriptions at this time. In order to use this slip, you must stand in the room with the item and whisper the room name and the item you want to be embedded before submitting the slip.

This certificate allows you to move any object (that you can interact with) so that instead of appearing in the "You also see" line, it instead becomes a hyperlink in Wrayth somewhere else in the room description.

For example, if your room looks like:
<prelog2>
You also see a doorway and an herb-filled pot.
Obvious exists: north
</pre>
There already exists reference to "a decorative pot" in the written room description which does not have a hyperlink. The object "an herb-filled pot" can be set up to act as a hyperlink in the room description where "decorative pot" is currently written. The same "herb-filled pot" will no longer appear in the "You also see" line, however you will still be able to interact with it and it will still be referenced in the room description with the hyperlink. The end result looks like:
<prelog2>
You also see a doorway.
Obvious exists: north
>tap pot
You tap an herb-filled pot.
</pre>

This is especially handy if you do not like having many objects in the "You also see" line, or if you have had an item created to appear like something already referenced in the room description.

This uses the DELAYED system.

InnFun Window
This will allow you to add the InnFun script to a window. Please remember, you can customize the EXHALE design before applying.

This can be used on an existing window object. If your window is not already set up as an object, it will not work. This will add the InnFun Window script, which has several fluff verbs. When someone {{boldmono}|EXHALEs}} on a window with the InnFun script, a brief image will show up on the window glass. Their demeanor impacts what the image is. The script can have five different images that show up based on if their demeanor is set to cold, reserved, neutral, friendly, or warm.

This voucher does not use the DELAYED system. Customizations for the window images must be applied via standard GALD merchant (or Sadie scroll) before the voucher is used.

InnFun Basin
This can either be POINTed at a non-functional basin on your property to give it the InnFun script OR it can be RAISEd in a specific room to add a basin.

This can be used to do one of two things. It can be POINTed at an existing object that makes sense to be a wash basin to upgrade it to having the InnFun Basin script. It can also be RAISEd in a room to add a wash basin with the InnFun Basin script. If creating a new wash basin object, it follows standard alter rules and can have a base description as well as a show description. Wash basins work like sinks; they are not bath tubs.

If the room does not yet have a basin object in it that can be interacted with (via TAP, LOOK, etc.), then a basin will be created in the room that appears in the "You also see" line. In this case, if you want the basin created to become a hyperlink in the room description, then you need to use an "Imbed a Room Item" certificate on the basin after it is created in the room.

This voucher does not use the DELAYED system. Customizations for basin creation must be applied via standard GALD merchant (or Sadie scroll) before the voucher is used.

Herb Garden
This voucher creates an Herb Garden in the room where it is used. The herb garden appears in the "You also see" line.

If you want your herb garden to appear in, on, under, or behind another object already in the room when you look in, on, under, or behind that object, you will need to use a "Move a Room Item" voucher on it after it has been created. If you want your herb garden to appear as a hyperlink in the room where there currently isn't one, the herb garden noun MUST match the noun referenced in the room description (pot, jar, box, etc.), and you will need to use an "Imbed a Room Item" voucher on it after it has been created.

This voucher does not use the DELAYED system. Customizations for the herb garden creation must be applied via standard GALD merchant (or Sadie scroll) before the voucher is used.

Foraged Item Prop
This voucher creates a Foraged Item Prop in the room where it is used. The foraged item prop appears in the "You also see" line.

If you want your foraged item prop to appear in, on, under, or behind another object already in the room when you look in, on, under, or behind that object, you will need to use a "Move a Room Item" voucher on it after it has been created. If you want your foraged item prop to appear as a hyperlink in the room where there currently isn't one, the foraged item prop noun MUST match the noun referenced in the room description (tree, flowers, planter, etc.), and you will need to use an "Imbed a Room Item" voucher on it after it has been created. Generally speaking, it is usually okay if your foraged item prop noun is singular even if the noun referenced in the room description is pluralized.

This voucher does not use the DELAYED system. Customizations for the foraged item prop creation must be applied via standard GALD merchant (or Sadie scroll) before the voucher is used.

Latest revision as of 10:08, 21 October 2023

Debuting at Rumor Woods 2023 in the Vintage Visions shop, private property change vouchers were offered that modify several aspects of private properties. Prior to Rumor Woods, a handful of property additions were available in The Roof Over at Evermore Hollow.

[Your Home, Kitchen]
This home is pretty cozy on the inside, with a large fireplace set into one wall opposite a pair of curtain-draped windows. A large table with an ample workspace stands in the center. Several jars and a decorative pot rest on a windowsill above a wash basin, a small stove standing nearby. There is a fancy wooden cabinet standing against one wall. It smells like recently baked cookies.
You also see a doorway and a plain trash can.
Obvious exists: north

You can request that your "plain trash can" be moved so that it is located under the "large table" object that already exists in the room. Once moved, you will only ever see the trash can if you LOOK UNDER TABLE. You will still be able to interact with it. The end result looks like:

[Your Home, Kitchen]
This home is pretty cozy on the inside, with a large fireplace set into one wall opposite a pair of curtain-draped windows. A large table with an ample workspace stands in the center. Several jars and a decorative pot rest on a windowsill above a wash basin, a small stove standing nearby. There is a fancy wooden cabinet standing against one wall. It smells like recently baked cookies.
You also see a doorway.
Obvious exists: north
>look under table
Under the large table you see a plain trash can.

[Your Home, Kitchen]
This home is pretty cozy on the inside, with a large fireplace set into one wall opposite a pair of curtain-draped windows. A large table with an ample workspace stands in the center. Several jars and a decorative pot rest on a windowsill above a wash basin, a small stove standing nearby. There is a fancy wooden cabinet standing against one wall. It smells like recently baked cookies.
You also see a doorway and an herb-filled pot.
Obvious exists: north

There already exists reference to "a decorative pot" in the written room description which does not have a hyperlink. The object "an herb-filled pot" can be set up to act as a hyperlink in the room description where "decorative pot" is currently written. The same "herb-filled pot" will no longer appear in the "You also see" line, however you will still be able to interact with it and it will still be referenced in the room description with the hyperlink. The end result looks like:

[Your Home, Kitchen]
This home is pretty cozy on the inside, with a large fireplace set into one wall opposite a pair of curtain-draped windows. A large table with an ample workspace stands in the center. Several jars and a decorative pot rest on a windowsill above a wash basin, a small stove standing nearby. There is a fancy wooden cabinet standing against one wall. It smells like recently baked cookies.
You also see a doorway.
Obvious exists: north
>tap pot
You tap an herb-filled pot.
