A character's DEMEANOR can be set to determine how s/he interacts with other characters and to control what actions other characters may perform on him. It is mechanical control over roleplay.
Demeanor can be used in tandem with BEFRIEND.
Help
Please note: This populates with DEMEANOR HELP or HELP DEMEANOR.
Usage:
DEMEANOR <demeanor> to change your attitude.
DEMEANOR <demeanor> <race | profession> to change your attitude toward a race or profession.
DEMEANOR <person> to check that person's current attitude.
<demeanor> is one of the following: cold, reserved, neutral, friendly, warm, clear.
Use BEFRIEND to set your demeanor toward a specific person.
Your demeanor is cold.
Usage
- DEMEANOR COLD
You decide to show the world just how cold you can be.
- DEMEANOR RESERVED
You adopt a reserved demeanor.
- DEMEANOR NEUTRAL
You decide to take things as they come.
- DEMEANOR FRIENDLY
You show the world your friendly side.
- DEMEANOR WARM
You love the world and the world loves you!

- ARMOR (receiving armor adjustments)
- DRAG (if the character being dragged is alive)
- IMPRINT (verb) (remote healing)
- PULL (verb) (getting pulled to standing from prone)
- TRANSFER (verb) (healing)
Group members can always use ARMOR and TRANSFER on each other, bypassing the demeanor check. PULL still requires NEUTRAL or above DEMEANOR.
