===Enhancive Bonuses===
It has been proven that the greatest enhancive potential of the badge can be obtained by evenly upgrading items on the badge (i.e. each part to level 1, then each part to level 2, and so on). Enhancive potential is based on the total number of upgrades, not the strength of the upgrade.
Different skill and stat bonus require a different number of badge upgrades. For example, a badge will be able to enhance climbing bonus by 10 long before it can enhance combat maneuvers bonus by the same amount.

Enhancive Bonuses:
Every 5 badge upgrades permit an enhancive bonus of +1 to any skill rank or stat bonus, or +2 to any skill bonus or stat. It also suspected that the badge rounds up at 3, 8, 12, etc upgrades such that skill bonuses and stats can have odd numbered bonuses.

Any character that has completed a task in the Adventurer's Guild can get a badge from the guild. It is a pin-worn functional item. The badges serve as a status symbol as well as being able to enhance the abilities, skills, and statistics of the character who wears the badge. There are five things that can be upgraded on the badges as a character earns bounty points (BPs) through the Adventurer's Guild: the material, the binding, the device, the motif, and the gem. A badge can only have a value of the lifetime bounty points that a character has accumulated. The first upgrade for an item on the badge is valued at 10,000 BPs. The second upgrade is 20,000 BPs, while the third upgrade is 30,000 BPs, so a character with 60,000 lifetime bounty points could have 3 upgrades for the material (10,000 + 20,000 + 30,000) and nothing else, or 2 upgrades on the material (10,000 + 20,000) and two upgrades on the binding (10,000 + 20,000) for a total of 60,000 bounty points.
