The glass lily is a piece of perfume-holding jewelry that currently holds the scent of night jasmine, bergamot, and spring rain. It may be altered with a long or a show, but must remain a piece of jewelry. The stoppered crystal vial will always remain on the piece.

You get no sense of whether or not the lily may be further lightened.

Perfume and cologne can be applied to a character in order to create an output for SMELL. Each application will last four hours before it wears off, and these applications can be stacked to last longer than four hours. Scents range from traditionally pleasant to unpleasant as seen via the list of perfumes.

Standard perfumes come with ten uses, but merchants might sell them with more. Most perfumes can be permified. Custom perfume is sometimes offered as a delayed service prize and is referred to as bottomless, which means it has unlimited uses.

Perfume is always available on Mist Harbor in The Crystal Lotus and at Solhaven in Mistsheen Annex. It is often sold at festivals and pay events.

Analyze

You analyze your ship-shaped bottle and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This bottle is for perfume or cologne. Current verbs are: DRINK, MEASURE, POUR, and SMELL.

When applied, this bottle will produce the following scent.
First-person: You have metallic-sparked notes of ozone crackling against seawater-heavy mist, creating an atmosphere charged with flashes of dark and light. Faint traces of ash enshroud the corrupted iron core, sweetened only by tentacles of thick molasses that threaten to draw the scent into depths of blackened vanilla.
Third-person: XXX has metallic-sparked notes of ozone crackling against seawater-heavy mist, creating an atmosphere charged with flashes of dark and light. Faint traces of ash enshroud the corrupted iron core, sweetened only by tentacles of thick molasses that threaten to draw the scent into depths of blackened vanilla.

You get no sense of whether or not the bottle may be further lightened.

Usage

Verb First Third
DRINK You take a drink from your ship-shaped bottle, and quickly realize that this might very well be the most stupid thing you've ever done. Though, deep down, you know it is unlikely to be your last. XXX takes a drink from her ship-shaped bottle.

She suddenly looks terribly ill!

MEASURE Your ship-shaped bottle currently has 10 of a maximum 10 applications. N/A
POUR You pour a few drops of liquid from your ship-shaped bottle onto yourself. XXX pours a few drops of perfume from her ship-shaped bottle on herself.
SMELL You sniff delicately at the ship-shaped bottle, and detect the faint scent of metallic-sparked notes of ozone crackling against seawater-heavy mist, sprinkled with faint traces of ash, sweetened by thick molasses and blackened vanilla. XXX sniffs delicately at a glass ship-shaped bottle wrapped in kraken tentacles.

Additional Information

An infinite vial of most commonly found perfumes - referred to as a perfume shifter - is occasionally awarded as a prize in various games, contests, and prize pools.

Tip: ANALYZE the perfume to get the first and third-person scent messaging without wearing it first.
