Evil Eye gives the caster a deadly stare, instilling intense fear into the target(s). Depending upon the severity of the warding failure, the terrified target may freeze, run away, or outright die. Player characters subjected to this may be so scared, it will cause them to run until within the safety of the nearest town.
Evil Eye can be cast both targeted and open cast. When open cast, targets are chosen using the Multi-target spell system.
Undead creatures are immune to Evil Eye.
Endroll | Effect | Length of Stun |
---|---|---|
101-124 | Causes target to flee one room away in a random direction | No Stun; Incurs 10 seconds of hard RT |
125 - 174 | Causes the target to fall to the ground. Creatures will drop items in their hands. Stance will be reduced to neutral. | 1 second per 2 warding margin (12 sec at ER 125 to 37 sec at ER 174) |
175-198 | Causes the target to flee for their life out of the area. Creature targets will be considered dead, though no body will be left behind. Player targets will immediately flee to the next town. If the target is missing either two legs or a leg and the opposing arm, it will instead be knocked unconscious due to its inability to flee. | No resulting stun |
