Grawood Farmstead is a farming and herding community outside of River's Rest that hosts a spring festival to celebrate the coming growing season.

There is no charge for the 2010 event.

Date

The event will run from the evening of May 14 through May 21.

Access

Grawood's Annual Spring Farm Festival is just around the corner! The hitching post is almost ready to be set up in River's Rest, and from there, you'll be able to catch a wagon that will take you straight to Grawood's Farm area!

The wagons will be located in River's Rest and will run you back-and-forth from Grawood May 14th (evening) through 21st (evening).

Adventurers must travel to River's Rest to attend this festival.

The hitching post is located on the forested path south of the sanctuary. GO POST will put you on a wagon.

Events

Advertised were a hoedown, complete with dancing, games, merchants, town shops, locals, food, cows, and turnips.

In all seriousness though, I did say this was a free festival. For that simple fact alone, it's not going to be as big and grand as a pay event. However, I do hope that players will enjoy the atmosphere, the storyline, and the shops. (GameMaster Xynwen)

Meet the folks, visit the town shops, play a few games, and celebrate around the spring bonfire! This is an RP event with some visiting merchants and a few items of interest, so we hope you'll stop by and find something that grabs your attention!

Merchants

Barly - Room 2 - a small portable pen - Goats

Palema - Room 26 - an ivy-covered mottled brick cottage. Jewelry in her shop.

Hragon - Room 27 - a quaint multicolored building - Features?

Widdley - Room 23 - a small red brick workshop - LFM STUFF!!!!!!!!!

A deep, sonorous voice announces, "Widdley will be up in the loft of the Pitchfork Pub, making things lighter. He plans to pull the ladder up in 5 minutes!"

Immuron - Room 22 - a brick-lined cobblestone pathway - Smithy

Eunise - Room 40 - a large red wooden barn

Leanney - Room 9 - a thatch-roofed whitewashed cottage

Gracefully moving through the area, a corn husk doll with bright yellow corn silk hair announces, "Maiden Leanney will be playing games in her cottage! I love games!" Pirouetting, the doll dances away.

Beezer/Bartlebee - Room 8 - a small red barn with a weathered shingle roof.

Murley - Room 17 - a large feathered tent

A freckle-faced child runs by shouting, "The Whittler Murley will be working on wooden items and his own wares inside his tent, the Spring Chicken!"

Maialynn - Room 13 - a whitewashed country cottage

The sweet smell of baking wafts in on the breeze as a young boy runs past, his arms laden with scones. "Maiden Maialynn is working in her parlor in the Country Cottage, she'll work on most anything if you ask real nice. She even baked me some scones!" He rushes away, his sandals slapping against his feet as he runs.

Nanetta - Room 10 - A bright yellow building - Wine

Cathiene - Room 53 - a bright yellow daisy-painted wagon

Teekhum - 42 - a large oak wagon covered in scrollwork - A young man walks by and states, "I think Teekhum is working in his wagon, the Write Stop. I hear he works with all sorts of scholarly items."

Harkogin - a battered oak wagon painted with heraldic crests - Transmorphic items

Harkogin says, "Allow me to summarize, you bring me a ring or a tabard from my shop, and only those items as I've already purified them so I know they're safe for this process."
Harkogin says, "Then, I work a rather impressive magical undertaking, the specifics of which you probably won't understand."
Harkogin says, "And when it's all done we're either dead, or your object has a second form which can be manipulated."
