Life Aquatic devices can be GAZEd through while on an Open Sea Adventures ship, on the Flotilla, or in several other waterside locations to capture replicas of various aquatic creatures as part of the Life Aquatic system. Usage Verb First Third GAZE Leaning into the water at the edge of the pier, you gaze through the device and notice a pale celadon starburst anemone floating along beside the pier. This device works all across the seas of Elanthia and allows you to look at all the lovely sea creatures that the waters have to offer. Once you've captured the likeness of one, the device lets you imbue them with magic. This magic lets you transfer designs featuring the little critters to paper. Instructions: 1. GAZE through the device as you wander the various seas and oceans 2. WAVE the device when you find a sea critter you'd like to capture the likeness of 3. SHAKE the sea critter out of the device to retrieve it You may look at the device at any time to see what, if anything, is inside it. Once you have a sea critter inside, you have a few options. OPTIONS: 1. WHISPER MY device OPTION PAPER - Paper is the default, but if you move away it will get you back. 2. WHISPER MY device OPTION GEM - This will let you transform your critter into a gemstone. 3. WHISPER MY device OPTION CANDY {hard or chew or chocolate} - This will transform your critter into one of the specified candy types. The device is currently 3 of 3 Tiers. They are edible and can take on three differnt forms: hard candy, soft candy, and chocolate. Gem Aquatic Creature Gem Aquatic Creatures are created by the Life Aquatic Collection Device. They can be used by various items or systems that interact with standard gemstones. This includes Weaving Lathes, Veola hair accessories, Joola items, Cobbling, and more! Paper Aquatic Creature Paper Aquatic Creatures are created by the Life Aquatic Collection Device. They can be used to transfer designs to qualifying paper. Each aquatic creature type has multiple design options that can be changed using WHISPER. The "octopus" creature type does not have plural options. Analyze You analyze your dog whelk snail and sense that the creator has provided the following information: A spire-pointed dog whelk snail has been captured and replicated by an Aquatic Life Device. It is designed to be POINTed at a piece of qualifying paper and will transfer its design to that paper. This particular snail will change the paper's LOOK description to: Wearing a tiny pirate hat, a spire-pointed dog whelk snail rides atop an eyepatch-wearing reef shark painted along the borders of the (paper adj.) (paper noun). Once it has done this, it will disintegrate. Due to the nature of the snail, it cannot be altered.
