In casting '''Wild Entropy''', the Ranger draws upon their affinity to Nature and its inevitable cycle to cause damage and diminish the target's [[resistance]] to attacks that deal Nature damage (such as [[Sun Burst (609)]], [[Moonbeam (611)]], and [[Spike Thorn (616)]]).

The spell deals initial [[Disintegration critical table|disintegration]]-based Nature damage followed by 4 additional cycles of minor damage at 2-second intervals.

Each instance of damage inflicts a negative Nature resistance effect with a magnitude of 10, with additional based on training in [[Spiritual Lore, Summoning]]. This debuff stacks with diminishing returns equal to half of the previous magnitude (10 + 5 + 2 + 1 + 0 ...). The duration of the debuff is a refreshable 30 seconds.

On a successful cast of the spell at a target that is already affected by Wild Entropy, any remaining damage cycles will immediately fire.
