Rapid Healing lasts for 60 seconds, and has a 30 minute cooldown.
While the spell is active:
- Base RT of all healing spells is halved from 10/20/30/40 to 5/10/15/20 seconds. This is calculated before Empath Base ranks or Mental Lore, Transformation lore are taken into account.
- There is an +25% chance to also heal a scar when healing a minor wound, whether through casting a healing spell or Troll's Blood (1125). This bonus stacks additively with any bonus from Spiritual Lore, Blessings, but can activate at the base 25% even if the caster does not meet the Blessings lore threshold for a scar.
- Mental Lore, Transformation provides a chance to heal a rank 2 or 3 wound fully when casting a healing spell. The required lore ranks to activate this effect are shown in the table below. The base chance is 20%, and increases by 0.5% for every lore rank above the threshold.
Medium | Severe | |
---|---|---|
Limb | 50 | 90 |
System | 60 | 100 |
Head | 70 | 110 |
Organ | 80 | 120 |
Example: An empath with 54 ranks of ML:Transformation and 0 ranks of SL:Blessings healing a rank 2 limb wound would have a 22% chance to heal that wound down to a rank 0, and if that happened, a separate 25% chance to also remove the underlying scar.
