Heroism draws additional fortitude from the surrounding lesser spirits. This serves to bolster the caster's courage and confidence, thus improving the caster's combat effectiveness. The spell also helps to bring the caster's mind and body into focus, allowing the caster to recover from both physical and mental fatigue at a faster rate.
The caster gains 25 to attack strength (AS) (both physical and bolt spell) and regenerates 1 mana (MP) and 1 health point (HP) every minute. In addition, it provides an unknown defensive benefit against SMRv2 spells and maneuvers.
Finally, Heroism adds 3 effective levels against sheer fear attacks from undead creatures, and increases the user's defense against a standard maneuver roll if the maneuver is able to be evaded.
Lore Benefits
Training in Spiritual Lore, Blessings provides two benefits:
Group Version
35 ranks of Blessings Lore unlocks a group version triggered using EVOKE. This version has a 60 second duration and a 180 second cooldown, applied to each target of the spell. The EVOKE version of the spell is exempt from spell-removing effects.
Attack Strength Increase
Blessings Lore increases the self-cast AS by 1 per 10 ranks. For every 3 additional AS, the MP cost of the spell increases by 1. The caster receives the full bonus even when casting the group version of the spell.
