Strength of Will gifts the Empath with even more improved mental abilities. At a base, this spell provides a +12 bonus to spiritual target defense and +12 to to the Empath's defense against melee, ranged, and bolt attacks. Further training in the Empath's base spell list improves on this by providing another +1 to both TD and DS for every 3 Empath spell ranks known above 1119, up to a maximum of +25. The mana cost of the spell increases by 1 for ever +3 DS and TD boost.
