A Book-inator is a special type of bookshelf script that is available for private property owners and able to be installed in their homes. It can hold multiple books together, which then can be selected individually for retrieval. Book-inators are individual shelves, which can be nested in the form of multiple Book-inator shelves within a larger bookcase.
Not all books work with the Book-inator. For example, Writable books and the Elanthian Binder do NOT work due to storage limit restrictions. Many Gloumerrick books and Library books are compatible, but some are not. See the list of compatible books for more information.
A Book-inator was first made available as part of a private property improvement associated with a 2025 Ebon Gate raffle win. The script was then made available for sale in 2026 at Rumor Woods in the Vintage Visions shop.

This device is designed to store non-library books. Due to the nature of this device and its storage capacity, it can't hold ALL non-library books as the data stored in/on some of them can sometimes be too large.
Use
PUT - Allows you to place a book inside.
LOOK - Displays a list of stored books.
PLUCK - Removes a stored book.
WHISPER - Tags a book for removal.
A raw-edged petrified haon shelf can hold a maximum of 25 books.

1. an embossed dark brown tome
Fashioned of dark brown goat hide, the tome is embossed with a small missive that reads, "Philomaera: A Tale of the Goating."
2. a worn buckskin journal
Small and compact, the journal is fashioned from hardened buckskin and filled with off-white pages. Tidy catgut stitching at the spin keeps cover and pages bound together, while short blocky letters are stamped into the top, proclaiming the piece as "Lark and Lyric by Alouetta Lebouffan."
At the very bottom is a short missive,
"For Person, whose thoughts like rivers flow,
Through hidden depths where few dare go.
May pages hold what silence keeps,
And stir the soul where memory sleeps.

3. a thin violet suede storybook (On Display)
Stretching across the cover, buttery soft violet suede protects the bound pages of the storybook Embossed into the center is a lamppost decorated with an autumn-hued ivy vine. In the lower right corner is the image of a blackbird wearing a tri-liripipe hat decorated in bright yellow and white diamonds. Stamped into the spine are the words "The Lamplighter and the Fool by Alouetta Lebouffan."
