Drakar is a flat and unreflective metal, bright white in color, and speckled with crimson dots. It is most often mined in locations, such as Teras Isle, that have high amounts of volcanic activity, or did at one point in the past. It is rumored that the metal is formed deep in the earth and is expelled with the lava. It also has a unique property which will cause weapons constructed from this material to flare with fire possibly causing fire based critical damage to an opponent.
Drakar is one of four materials that has an enchant bonus similar to mithril and this additional flaring property. The others being zorchar (lighting flares), rhimar (cold flares), and gornar (vibration flares).
