Preservation, known also by its slang term lifekeep, strengthens the bond tethering the soul to the corpse after death, preventing an adventurer from decaying or departing normally. However, one can still depart after using the UNLINK (verb) verb.
Lore Effects
Training in Spiritual Lore, Religion will add 15 seconds per rank to the duration of the spell.
Other Methods
This is the spell found in white flasks, as well as one aspect of the pure potion if POURed into a corpse. The Order of Voln's Symbol of Preservation has a similar effect.
