The ethereal weapon first debuted at Ebon Gate 2015. They have also been available within the Reim Base Camp for purchase with ethereal scrip. These unique weapons come standard at four times enchanted with a special ethereal chains flare based on the Puncture critical table. The ethereal weapons live within a tattoo. When the tattoo is rubbed, the weapon chosen for the tattoo is summoned into the person's hand and has a cooldown of five minutes. If both the weapon and the tattoo are both in game at the same time they will refresh the cooldown automatically. If one were to leave the game, the weapon would vanish and the tattoo would reset. If a player HURLs the weapon it will DELETE itself and apply a random cooldown of 4 to 10 seconds. This mirrors the HURL RECOVER system and its timing. AnalyzeThe creator has also provided the following information: You hear a strange voice enter your mind... "If you rub the tattoo... you can retrieve infinite power. You can play with us by attempting to: wave, pull, push, tickle, or tap us Should I be disarmed and you cannot retrieve me... just wait, I will return home.
