Slender winnet and barabok trees edge the clearing, their wiry trunks twisting and twining in an impenetrable lattice of dark and sandy woods. Leaf-clustered branches spread overhead in a lushly-woven canopy of shifting greens and browns, casting your surroundings in a kaleidoscope of shadow and pale light. A knobby pebble path emerges from a gap in the trees to your east, stretching between sunken beds of flowering herbs, and dwindling to an end at the doorstep of a small wooden cottage. You also see a tincture of tkaro and a wooden bench with some stuff on it. |
a wooden plaque In the Common language, it reads: Just in from the alchemists at the Wizards College: Sarmoc potion. For a mere 5,000 silver this potion will allow an enchanting wizard to remove the temper from any tempered item. But as a special introductory price, this potion is now only 1,000 silvers.

An odd combination of pungent and acrid smells lingers thickly in the cramped confines of the hut. Occasional sharp twinges sting your nose and send ripples down your spine. Spherical glass pots hang from the ceiling between bunches of drying grass. Viny tendrils spill over the rafters, moving gracefully with slight air currents drifting in and out of the open doorway. Lines of shelves stretch wall-to-wall behind a wooden counter, displaying scads of vari-colored jars along their lengths. You also see a dark wood table, the alchemist Thistleberry, a modwir sign and a curtained arch.

Unrecognizable aromas hang in the air, although fainter than in the front of the shop. A scuffed manifest lies attached to a short counter by a tarnished metal ring. Cupboards line the back wall, their doors marred by dents and random scorch marks.
