Hi. I'm EK. I currently play both Alisaire Frey [since '01] and Nehari Savius Faendryl [since '04], after a several year on-again-off-again period of sometimes playing GemStone.
My first experience playing was about half a month after AOL went unlimited. At the time, I was something stupid, like a red-haired Sylvan Ranger named Katy-something, and I was such a n00b that all I did was recite songs that were currently popular on the radio while tapping silver coins in the kobold village hovel. I could probably tell a number of amusing anecdotes about that time period, rightfully tinged by my wtf-do-I-care outlook. Fortunately, I have since moved on to bigger and brighter things (or at least finally succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force).
For further background, I am such a dork that I not only play a ranger online, but I am also one in real life. I like sexy demons like vathor, abyran'sa, and aishan, and also shan in general. (Yes, that was me who dressed up as a Shan Ranger at Simucon '03.) I like moonlit walks along the beach, so long as I know that Jaws is swimming out there and those screams I hear in the distance belong to someone who just made for him a tasty snack. I sometimes draw, typically fanart, and I adore console video games. I like anime and attend anime conventions several times a year; I even cosplay. I co-author internet erotica, typically stuff that you do not want to read (but if you ask really nice, I will show you where I keep it). I do not like dating. I will not bear your children.
