Cigar Cutters were released in March 2015 by GameMaster Keios at Bloodriven Village in the shop Cut and Dried. These cigar cutters are ingeniously designed to double as a knuckle-duster should the night take a turn for the worse. The basic cigar cutter of this design can transform nicely between a set of knuckles and a useful smoking tool. Some merchants are able to unlock the cigar cutter by adding a prominent drakar element for the purpose of lighting cigars, which also adds a little heat to the user's punches.

Locked, off-the-shelf

Analyze

The dark mithglin cutter is locked.

You can TURN and CLENCH the cutter.

Usage

Verb Style First Third
CLENCH Cutter No cigar: You casually squeeze the vultite cigar cutter, letting the keen *snick* of the blades proclaim their sharpness. XXX casually squeezes the vultite cigar cutter, letting the keen *snick* of the blades proclaim their sharpness.
Cigar: Slipping your index finger and thumb through the vultite cigar cutter's unusually sturdy double rings, you position the sepia-dyed cigar within the blade apperture, slicing the tip neatly off with a firm squeeze. XXX carefully positions the tip of a sepia-dyed cigar traced with bronze flourishes within the vultite cigar cutter and slices the tip neatly off.
Knuckle-duster You flex your fingers in the white vultite knuckle-duster, seating its rings comfortably against your knuckles. XXX flexes his fingers in the white vultite knuckle-duster, seating its rings comfortably against his knuckles.
TURN Cutter You draw the vultite cigar cutter open, pulling past the point of full aperture to disengage and sheathe the blades. Rotating the finger rings inward along hidden inner tracks, you guide them toward each other. Once touching, the handles snap down into new locked positions with a soft click. Then, with a nudge of your thumb, you unfold the doubled rings outward and reposition your grip on the white vultite knuckle-duster. XXX draws a polished white vultite cigar cutter with glinting eahnor blades open, pulling past the point of full aperture until the blades slip out of sight. He then slides the handles inward along hidden inner tracks until, once touching, they snap down and lock into place with a soft click. With a nudge of his thumb, XXX unfolds the finger rings outward, revealing them to be doubled, readjusting his grip on the white vultite knuckle-duster once finished.
Knuckle-duster You fold the outer rings of the white vultite knuckle-duster in flush against its inner rings and tug at them until they pull out slightly, released from their locked central position. Carefully rotating them outward and apart, you guide the handles along some hidden inner tracks until they snap down into place, engaging with the cutting blades of your vultite cigar cutter once more. XXX folds the outer rings of his white vultite knuckle-duster in flush against its inner rings and tugs at them until they pull out slightly. Rotating them on hidden inner tracks, XXX guides the handles outward and apart until they snap back down into opposite, locked positions. Adjusting his grip, XXX gives his vultite cigar cutter a test squeeze, checking that the cutting blades have been reengaged.

Unlocked

Analyze

You analyze your vultite cigar cutter and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
The vultite cigar cutter is unlocked.

You can TURN, CLENCH, PUSH and FLIP the cutter.

You get no sense of whether or not the cutter may be further lightened.

Usage

Verb Style First Third
FLIP Both You flip your vultite cigar cutter down and out, letting it spin around your index finger to smack comfortably back against your palm. XXX flips a polished white vultite cigar cutter with glinting eahnor blades down and out, letting it spin around his index finger to smack comfortably back against his palm.
PUSH Both Cigar: You roll the sepia-dyed cigar gently against the drakar element of your white vultite knuckle-duster, carefully rotating the cigar to evenly distribute the heat.

Small tendrils of smoke begin to trickle from the end of the sepia-dyed cigar as you continue to press it against the hot metal. Drawing air gently through the cigar, you coax the smoldering tobacco to a cleaner flame.

Finally satisfied that you've achieved a pleasantly even burn, you remove the sepia-dyed cigar from your white vultite knuckle-duster and inhale deeply from it. The area fills with a honeyed fig smoke.

XXX rolls a sepia-dyed cigar traced with bronze flourishes with a neatly trimmed tip gently against the drakar element of his white vultite knuckle-duster, carefully rotating the cigar to evenly distribute the heat.

XXX carefully continues to press a sepia-dyed cigar traced with bronze flourishes with a neatly trimmed tip against his white vultite knuckle-duster, pausing to draw carefully on the cigar as small tendrils of smoke begin to waft from its end.

XXX, apparently satisfied, removes a sepia-dyed cigar traced with bronze flourishes with a neatly trimmed tip from his white vultite knuckle-duster, lifting it to his mouth and inhaling deeply. The area fills with a honeyed fig smoke.

Cutter No cigar: You knock the vultite cigar cutter gently against the heel of your other hand, knocking any loose bits of tobacco leaf stuck in the blades free. XXX knocks a polished white vultite cigar cutter with glinting eahnor blades gently against the heel of his other hand, knocking any loose bits of tobacco leaf stuck in the blades free.
Knuckle-duster No cigar: You casually buff the edges of the white vultite knuckle-duster, making sure the rings are still securely seated. XXX casually buffs the edges of the white vultite knuckle-duster, tracing the heavy rings with his thumb.
