Kaius (platinum)

Kaius was born and raised in the forests of Cysaegir in the year 5104. Being a part of the Mrae'ni clan, he was taught about the healing of the mind through flora and herbs. He would also learn to speak with the forest's nature. Being an Aelotoi, Kaius formed a relationship with the damselflies and dragonflies of the forests the most. Spending time in the forests also allowed Kaius to use nature to connect with the spiritual realm. In doing so, he would learn the magic of divine incantations. This allowed him to aid himself and others in times of danger around town.
As he got older in age, Kaius learned about the outside world of the forests of Cysaegir. He would take small adventures into other areas of Elanthia, such as Icemule Trace, Kraken's Fall, Wehnimer's Landing, and the island of Mist Harbor.
Appearance
You see Kaius the Wing-brother and Steward of the Damselfly.
He appears to be an Aelotoi of the Mrae'ni Clan.
He is statuesque in height. He appears to be very young. He has piercing gold-flecked jade green eyes and tanned skin. He has neck-length, tousled sable black hair in an array of windswept loose curls. He has a delicate face, a thin nose and a broad chest. He has a pair of emerald green wings veined with a delicate leaf pattern.
He has a single green leaf tattoo wrapping the bicep on his arm.
Garments
He is wearing a hemp-strung tanik whistle decorated in pale, an emerald green teardrop pendant strung on a forest green leather cord, a leaf-bowed rainbow glaes key, an amber-enameled morning glory slung over his shoulder, a wing-clasped knapsack of aged cognac leather, a carved jade bracelet of overlapping oak leaves, a vine-etched band of intertwined silver and onyx, a polished jade band etched with silver leaves, a vert silk bag sewn from overlapping leaves, a dragonfly-shaped haon case framed by stained glass wings, and a dark forest green wrap-skirt shaped like a leaf.
Pets
Kaius made friends with all the creatures of the forest in Cysaegir. Some would get so attached to Kaius, that they would follow him around everywhere he went. Kaius gave these ones names.
- Floaty - a plump silver dragonfly bedecked in emerald green wings
- Mandragor - a black-eyed pale tanik mandrake
Perched upon a spindled body of woven tanik roots, the mandrake's head is bulbous and resembles a carved and dried gourd. Permanently frozen in a grin, his mouth deepens the plentiful wrinkles in his face, and his black peppercorn eyes are nearly lost behind wispy white hair that almost looks like corn silk. Blue bracket fungus dimples his limbs, which are gangly and awkward.

During his adventures into other towns around Elanthia, Kaius has been invited to social gatherings where entertainment had been provided.
Joke's On You
Held in Kraken's Fall on the ship The Whispering Muse which can be located at Pier 2. This is a dice game hosted by Leiana, Jaired Delone's wife. The object of the game is to roll dice without having a knave or jester face up. If one can roll the dice continuously and rack up 300 points, they win the game.
If a knave appears, Leiana calls upon the forces of nature to have lightning come down and strike the one who rolled the knave. The more knaves that are rolled, the more lightning will strike. Depending on the wounds, a contestant of the game can die from a lightning strike. If this happens, the player of the game loses and is out of the game. If the player rolls a jester, their turn is over. This does not end the game for them as their turn can come back around and they can continue to accumulate the 300 points.
Besides a knave and a jester, the dice also portrays a blank side. If this is rolled, the player will spin a wheel that displays different types of orbs. These orbs will help the contestant build knowledge. There is no limit on how much knowledge one can learn.
If a contestant happens to roll the dice enough times to reach 300, they win the game. As a prize, the winning player can choose silvers as a monetary reward or a token they can use when the merchant Lectoria makes her visit, usually in Wehnimer's Landing. Depending on the time, Leiana will usually play a few rounds.
Kaius visited Kraken's Fall and was invited to play this game. He was fortunate enough to win a round with a bit of scorch from lightning striking down on him. It was after, he visited Wehnimer's Landing and was able to meet the merchant Lectoria. He continues to listen for when Leiana invites others to visit The Whispering Muse for another game of Joke's On You!
