First off, these armoires are amazing. I LOVE the idea and the execution is perfect. Bravo!!
Two things I noticed: First, when I OPENed the armoire, a few things had some message bugginess:
Second, the armoire doesn't appear to work with player cobbled shoes. Any chance of having this looked at, because ... much sadness for the Imelda Marcos of Elanthia!

Both of these issues should now be resolved. In the case of scripted items (like the cobbled boots), the armoires won't work with any such item that does anything special when worn or removed (which may or may not be visible to the player). However, I'm willing to investigate this on a case by case basis, so if anyone has an item that won't work with the armoire, let me know and I'll investigate. I can't promise to make it always work, but I will try my best.

LADYFLEUR
These are really great. Thanks for the release!
The armoires also don't work with the following, if these can be looked into:
* the AG badge
* armor concealers
* hair baubles
Finally, must they weigh 5 lbs each? Since the whole thing is magical and they can't be worn, it makes it a bit heavy to carry around for the purpose of sorting items. It would be great if the weight could be reconsidered.

They should now work with the Adventurer's Guild Badges (when not hidden). They cannot work with armor concealers, as those perfectly illustrate some things that take place when the item is normally worn/removed (hiding/unhiding armor). They cannot work with the hair baubles since those are hidden when worn. Their weight is pretty good at 5 lbs, but they can be lightened to 3 lbs.

Thanks for the badge fix and the prompt response. I see that SEARCH tells you what items are saved to the armoire, but I was wondering if there's any way to tell whether the armoire has those contents in it without opening it, since OPEN obviously activates the script. This would be handy if one had multiple armoires.
Also, do GM Jainna's labels work on these?

You can now PEER at it to look inside without opening it. Yes, the labels work on the armoires.

Erm ... one more eensy little trouble with the armoire:

If you point the armoire at two pairs of shoes (assuming that you wanted to switch between them upon opening), or any other article of clothing including containers, armors, etc., and if you somehow get both items INTO the armoire, it will cheerfully put them all on you at once. I was at one point wearing 2 pairs of shoes, 2 cloaks, and I can't count how many shoulder containers. Just a heads' up!

This should now be resolved. Thanks for reporting it.

DRAFIX

Could fusion armor be made to work with them? As well as voln/ithzir?

They were already working with ithzir armor and should now also with fusion armor. Unfortunately, they won't be able to work with Voln armor.

Also, there was a bug where items hidden by the griffin pins would cause the armoires to remove their saved setting for those items. This should now be resolved. The armoires won't remove hidden items, but it shouldn't cause the setting to be removed (so next time if you want to include the item, you can just unhide it first).

Armoires will now work with items that share the exact same description. You only need to set one item and any other item that matches its description will also be worn/removed from you when you open the armoire.

You can now PROD the armoire, which will cause it to go dormant. This will allow you to open the armoire without it trying to dress/undress you. Prod it again to turn it back on. This replaces the previous PEER verb, since you can now just open the armoire, then look inside.

Subject: Armoires Update

Based upon player feedback, we've decided to make some changes to armoires. First, there is now a new version sold by the Adventure's Guild shop that weighs a fraction of a pound at the cost of 75,000 Bounty Points. Second, the original armoires may also be lightened down to a fraction of a pound through 5 lightening sessions. Third, if you purchased the original armoire, but now wish to upgrade to the new, lighter version, you may ASSIST and request a refund during the next 30 days. Enjoy!

If you had previously reported a bug with the Adventurer's Guild armoires, please try it again and let me know if you notice any more problems. I fixed a number of issues and provided some additional messaging to help explain when there is a problem.

As a reminder, if you get an item altered (where its description is changed), you have to reset your armoire to save the item again (POINT ARMOIRE AT <item>).
