A staff twisted in the shape of a serpent with a demonic visage and capped with a dark diamond, known as Thalior's staff because its original owner was the legendary sorcerer, Thalior Farthor. The staff is not a weapon, but an altered shield.
The staff was altered to a braided willow staff twined with threads of vultite inset with black diamonds at the 2009 CCF Event
- The staff is 6x enchanted.
- The staff can store up to 4 spells cast at it which can then be invoked, like a scroll in the form of a rune, off the back of the staff at any time.
- TURNing the staff will allow you to switch between the spells stored.
- Can store spells under 20th level from these spell circles:
Originally there were no limitations to the spell that could be cast at the staff, however certain spells like Magic Item Create can no longer be stored.
This was done because too many mage rechargable items were being created with spells that are not inherently known to people who can cast Magic Item Create; in particular, Heroism.

Sparks begin to fly between the twisted staff and your fingers. With a sudden burst of enthusiasm, the sparks jump into your hand and a charged feeling surrounds you.
You are surrounded by a shimmering field of energy.

You turn the staff in your hands, causing a different section of the staff to face upwards. This section is marked with a small half moon. The space above it is blank.
