Kahlyr's Precious Gems

Kahlyr's Precious Gems is a shop in Solhaven that sells jewelry. The proprietor is Denaru, who works for the jeweler Kahlyr. It is located in North Market Northeast. In addition to selling jewelry, the shop doubles as the city's gemshop. While the proprietor of the salesroom upstairs is Denaru, most of the merchandise has been crafted by Lady Kahlyr.

Everything in this small shop gleams softly in the candlelight flickering from a crystal chandelier hanging overhead. A row of glaes-paned cases lines one wall, the first holding a collection of gems and the second displaying a diamond necklet. A carved wooden counter rests opposite. A carpeted stairway leads up to the second floor of the shop. You also see the jeweler Kahlyr.

This is the local gemshop. Gems and jewelry can be sold in the main entry room to Kahlyr.

Glaes-topped wrought iron tables line the dark mahogany walls of this narrow room. A deep scarlet carpet runs the length of the room, framed in by dark fel floor molding which has been embossed with repeating diamond shapes. An intricately latticed, arched window faces the entrance from the opposite wall.

Some jewelry items are placed back out for resale in this room. They may be placed on one of the several tables located within: a wrought iron adornments table, a wrought iron statuary table, a wrought iron miscellaneous table, a wrought iron imbeddables table, a wrought iron jewelry table, and a wrought iron magic item table.

A pure white snowflake against a jet black background covers the floor within the semicircle formed by the three display cases in this upper chamber. The central display case is flanked on the right and left by two glaes-paned display cases that enclose the room. The tight woolen pile of the carpet absorbs the sound of footsteps and creates a sense of inherent luxury. A carpeted stairway leads down to the first floor. You also see the gem merchant Denaru.
