The Purify spell can be used upon a weapon in order to increase the strength of a following Bless Item (304) cast. In order to do so, it must be cast first, and within 10 minutes of the Bless Item (304) cast.

Purify will also open the Graveyard gate near Wehnimer's Landing.

When cast upon spoiling food items, Purify can extend their life and renew some of their potency.

Silvery tendrils rise up and wreathe their way around Paladin's nightshade balm. As they continue to swirl, you notice some of the balm's blemishes completely disappear.
