Arm of the Arkati summons the spirits of past champions of his patron deity to guide and intensify the strikes of the Paladin's group in battle. The Paladin and everyone in his group gains an increase of +10% to their weapon's Damage Factor (DF) for physical attacks (melee and thrown only).
Training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning increases the DF bonus by +1% per seed 5 summation, starting from 1% at 5 lore ranks to a maximum bonus of +16% at 200 lore ranks.
With the increased bonus comes an increased Mana Point (MP) cost. The base MP cost is 5, +1 for every additional percentage above 10, +1 for each member of the group.
Lore ranks | DF % bonus | DF % total | Mana cost |
---|---|---|---|

161 | 14 | 24 | 19 |
180 | 15 | 25 | 20 |
200 | 16 | 26 | 21 |
Note: Mana cost portion of the table is for a non-group situation.
Example
Battle axes have a Damage Factor of .650 against the cloth Armor Group (AG). Under the effect of Arm of the Arkati (assuming the base +10% with no additional lore bonus):
- Modified DF = (.650 × 110%) = .715
