Eye Scry Monocle

Originally sold in the shop Eye Scry from Ebon Gate 2016. Unlocked versions were sold at the April 2017 Duskruin in the Accessories of Crime room of A Two-Story House. Monocle The monocle functions as a way of both seeing other areas and reading unknown languages. If the original owner of the eye is in the lands, the eye will let you see what they see, when the monocle is worn. The monocle will also let you read the languages known by the original owner of the eye. Each time the monocle is worn and is used to watch, the eyeball degrades. The item is functional and head worn. Despite the lack of information in the locked analysis, it appears PULL works for locked or unlocked. Locked Analyze You analyze your veniom-chained monocle and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun." The creator has also provided the following information: The monocle is currently locked. The monocle must remain a monocle. The monocle cannot have a long or a show. The monocle can be worn and turned. Wearers of the monocle will be able to glimpse through the eyes of the one whom the eye was parted from. You get no sense of whether or not the monocle may be further lightened. Usage Verb Style First Third READ (with eye in) As your gaze traces the edge of the monocle, the dusky purple eye set within pulses slightly, forcing trails of watery crimson into a line of cursive that reads the name, XXX. N/A READ (Item in Unknown Language) The eye in your monocle twitches slightly, and the letters seem to swirl and become readable. TURN One time You start to rotate the silver monocle's frame, and stop when the tips of six razor sharp blades snick out threateningly towards your eye. They look pretty sharp, are you SURE you want to turn that? TURN the silver monocle again if you're sure! XXX starts to rotate a veniom-caged silver monocle's frame, but stops with a slightly pale expression. Second time Taking a deep breath, you give the monocle a firm twist, the world going momentarily black as the spinning blades ruthlessly tear your right eye from its socket! XXX takes a deep breath and resolutely turns the frame of his silver monocle, staggering as his right eye is torn out with a slick snicking and squelching sound. Twice (Not worn, clears monocle) You turn the silver monocle and its six blades abruptly iris out of the frame, rendering the eye set within it into a pile of messy gore. XXX turns his silver monocle and the eyeball framed in its center abruptly dissolves into a pile of gore as six blades slice and dice it into oblivion.
