Windfellow's Retreat/2020

Windfellow's Retreat on Mist Harbor opens its doors to adventurers again as its host, Rorthen, and the gargoyles he created throw this year's Premium summer festival.

Crucial details came to light as the festivities progressed and eventually wound down. Rorthen attempted to make a new generation of gargoyles by using pieces of the existing gargoyles. This prompted Rocknoggin to tear him apart and throw him from the top of the keep, much to the horror of the gargoyles that witnessed it.

Also, some adventurers almost caused the gargoyle Tephra to crumble to dust in an attempt to liberate her from Rorthen's clutches, but she's fine. It's fine. Really!

The 2020 Premium Festival grounds will open on July 25, 2020, and close at on July 31, 2020.

Creamy white walls are inset along the borders with colorful gem shards, creating a clean, but soft, atmosphere. Framed by lace curtains, several windows allow sunlight to pour in and glint off of several of the many decorative masks that hang from the ceiling. Across from an armoire, a crystal case is crowded with items on display, and a gold-painted arch leads further into the wagon.

Each locket in the case will capture an image of whomever first opens it.  Not every locket is right for every person.  Some hints as to their personalities:

The glass and ironwood lockets are for the haughty.
The laje and halfmoon lockets are for the exuberantly happy.
The yew and skull lockets are for those who are curmudgeonly.
The jasper and ivy leaf lockets are for the flirtatious.
The blued steel and hematite lockets are for those of a stormy nature.


These lockets are complicated in their craftsmanship.

The Ivory Mask, Sitting Room

Shafts of sunlight filter in through several glass-paned slits in the ceiling, combining with the luminary efforts of a lavish arrangement of candles to create an intensely bright area. Several divans and couches sit against the walls, surrounding a gilt-edged mistwood table. A large portrait hangs on the far wall in between two smaller pieces of artwork.
