This spell nullifies the effect of Curse (715) for a brief period of time, allowing the target to remove and/or drop the cursed item. Unlike Remove Curse (315) there is no level comparison between the Sorcerer casting the curse and the Cleric removing it.
While the target is under the effects of a curse, the curse cannot be removed via Remove Curse (315). However, objects that have had curses neutralized can be interacted with as if not cursed; this permits a non-Sorceror to place cursed gems in containers as bait, among other less nefarious uses.
Lore Benefits
Spiritual Lore, Blessings increases the spell strength when attempting to neutralize a curse.
Other Uses
This spell also opens the gate to the Graveyard near Wehnimer's Landing.
